Monaco reject Liverpool bid for Thomas Lemar

Le 10 Sport has learned that Monaco have rejected a big money bid for star player Thomas Lemar.

The Reds offered €72 million for the highly rated playmaker plus Divock Origi, but the Principality club informed them they were not interested in the Belgian.

Despite the fact that Kylian Mbappe is set to leave, AS Monaco recently signed Stevan Jovetic and Balde Diao Keita, who are expected to help Radamel Falcao Garcia up front.

As a result, they would only consider selling Lemar if full amount is paid in cash, and while it is not known exactly how much they want for the France international, it is clearly more than €72 million.

The Reds are keen to reinforce their midfield department this summer and are also believed to be trying to agree a loan deal for Renato Sanches.
