Morelos’ Agent Sends Out Transfer Plea

As reported by Birmingham Mail, the agent of Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos has sent out a message to clubs interested in his client to make their move before his value ‘skyrockets’.

The 23-year-old Colombian has been on fantastic form this season, scoring 22 times in 26 games in all competitions. His contract doesn’t expire before the summer of 2023, and those facts combined certainly indicate a substantial rise in the player’s valuation. Further more, Morelos is a tactically versatile attacker, capable of playing as the central striker as well as on either wing, and he’s only likely to improve.

Rangers apparently value him at £20 million at the moment, which agent Theofilos Karasavvidis feels to be a bargain for any potential suitor, but he is certain that his price-tag will change upwards very soon.

Morelos has been linked with a number of clubs, but this particular report speaks of interest from Aston Villa, who are likely to be on the hunt for a new striker in January.
