“I want, I need a striker, but I want to make it very, very clear that the club knows that I need a striker and they also want a striker,” Mourinho said.
“Are we going to get one? I believe so, I honestly believe so. The team needs it for the balance of the squad.”
Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he is confident the club will sign a new striker during the summer transfer window.
Spurs have definitely made a few changes to their squad in recent weeks, but it does feel as if they’re still a step or two behind some of the other clubs in the running for the top four.
They’re more than capable of pushing back and going on a great run heading into the new campaign, but if Mourinho wants to find success in North London, the club will have to start forking out the cash.
