Napoli set Fabian Ruiz, Koulibaly price

Napoli are in no rush to sell Fabian Ruiz or Kalidou Koulibaly, according to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The 24-year-old midfielder has reportedly been of interest to Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, while the Senegalese centre-back, 28, is being considered by a number of top clubs around Europe. The contracts of both players with the Serie A side do not expire before the summer of 2023, which puts Napoli in a very strong position when negotiating any potential transfer.

In an exclusive interview with Corriere dello Sport, Di Laurentiis expressed the club’s stance that they have no need to sell players to provide income at the moment. Unlike many clubs, they do not have any debts. He said that if the likes of Real or any other club come in with an offer of €100 million, it would certainly be considered, but he wouldn’t even look at a bid of, for example, €60m, for either player.
