Napoli set Insigne price

Napoli have set the asking price for Lorenzo Insigne, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Last season’s Serie A runners-up have become aware of strong interest from top English clubs, namely Liverpool and Chelsea, in their prized forward and they insist they will not part ways with him for anything less than €90million.

Apart form three season-long loan spells, the 27-year-old has spent his entire career so far at Napoli and has become practically an icon for the club. He has scored 71 goals for them in 273 games played in all competition for them. Insigne is a very important player for Carlo Ancellotti’s team, and he proved his worth by inflicting Liverpool with their first Champions League defeat this season at the San Paolo stadium with a late winning strike.

He has, however, been linked with a move to the Premier League for a while now. He signed his current contract last year and it binds him to the Italian club until 2022, and that puts them in a strong position when it comes to the price of a potential transfer.
