Napoli to try and keep in-demand trio

Napoli have been the only serious competition Serie A title holders Juventus have had in recent years, and they will do their best to keep up with the Old Lady in the future too. Having lost manager Maurizzio Sarri and midfielder Jorginho (both to Chelsea) this summer, the first step they will attempt to take will be to keep the team  from dissolving further.

Midfielder Piotr Zielinski has been linked with a number of clubs around Europe, fullback Elseid Hysaj has been mentioned as the player who might follow the former coach to Stamford Bridge, while Nikola Maksimović is apparently being contemplated, among other centre-backs, by Juventus as they aim to rebuild their back line.

But Corriere dello Sport say Napoli will do their best to keep all three from departing, and they are currently preparing offers of new deals for them, hoping the proposed terms would be enough to convince them to remain at the San Paolo Stadium for a long time yet.
