Neves plays down speculations

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ruben Neves has apparently told Sky Sports he wants to play for the club in the Premier League next season.

Wolves won the Sky Bet Championship title this season, and during their open-top bus celebration Neves spoke about his intention to stay at Molineux for the time being.

Despite rumours linking him with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, Neves says he joined Wolves to help the club and the club has helped him as well. All three linked clubs are in the process of finding suitable additions to their respective midfield sections, and Neves would certainly be a great one for any of them.

Since his arrival from Porto last summer for £15.8million, the midfielder has firmly established himself as a key ingredient in the team and has no desire of letting that go at this point. He has played in 43 Championship games for Wolves this season, during which he managed to find the opposition net six times.
