N’Koulou set for permanent Torino move

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Torino plan to turn Nicolas N’Koulou’s loan deal into permanent move.

The Cameroon defender joined Granata on a season-long loan from Lyon, with an option to buy for €3.5 million.

N’Koulou has since largely impressed, spending every minute on the pitch in Torino’s first 12 league fixtures.

As a result, Granata chiefs have decided to purchase his contract, but they will do so at the end of the season.

At the same time, Torino are weighing up January bid for Bologna striker Mattia Destro, who should act as back-up to Andrea Belotti.
