FIFA President Sepp Blatter said that there would never be a soccer boycott of the Olympic Games, despite the protests that have delayed the torch relay.

Speaking from Beijing where he was attending the draw for the menÂ’s and womenÂ’s draw for the soccer tournament, he said that it was not FIFAÂ’s philosophy to boycott any competition.

He added that there had to be something wrong in the world if the Olympic torch could not be taken around the world without incident. Demonstrators have been focusing on ChinaÂ’s policies in Tibet and their strained relations with Sudan and the problems in Darfur.
