Harry Kane is in “no rush” to leave Bayern Munich but has refused to rule out a move away from the Bundesliga champions, with Barcelona reportedly showing interest in him.
Kane has put in spectacular performances since swapping Tottenham for Bayern in 2023, scoring 109 goals in 114 games for the Bavarians and helping them reclaim their Bundesliga crown last season.
The England captain is already 17th in Bayern’s all-time scoring charts and is only 30 goals away from breaching the top 10.
He has netted 24 times in just 18 outings this season, from a total expected goals (xG) figure of 15.2. The next highest-scoring player from Europe’s top five leagues is Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, with 19 goals to his name.
But Kane’s long-term future in Germany has been called into question recently, amid reports he has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for €65m next year, should he inform Bayern by the end of January.
Kane is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2027 but Barcelona have been touted as a possible next step for the striker, should the Blaugrana move on from 37-year-old Robert Lewandowski.
While Kane refused to give any assurances regarding his long-term future in an interview with BILD, he said it was unlikely that anything would change before the end of the season.
“I haven’t had any contact with anyone, nobody has contacted me,” Kane said.
