Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been widely criticized over the last couple of weeks, with the most talking about his poor performances, while some still can’t get their heads around him escaping punishment for inflicting Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk with a season-ending injury.
Nonetheless, England boss Gareth Southgate maintains faith in him, but he also admits that the 26-year-old doesn’t have proper competition for the place between the posts.
