Nottingham Forest firm in Anderson valuation amid interest from Manchester clubs

According to Florian Plettenberg, Nottingham Forest expect both Manchester City and Manchester United to push hard to sign Elliot Anderson this summer, and that should be direction of his move – should a move happen.

However, it is also quite possible that the 23-year-old midfielder stays put, given that Forest’s valuation of his services stands in the region of £100-120million. If they really want to keep him, it’s completely in their hands, with three years remaining on the original contract he signed upon joining the club from Newcastle in 2024.

In any case, nothing is expected to happen before the World Cup. Anderson’s focus at the moment remains on Forest and helping them survive in the Premier League, and then it will switch to travelling to North America to represent England on the biggest international stage.
