Nuno heavily linked with Arsenal switch

According to a recent report from The Guardian, speculation is growing that Unai Emery’s days as Arsenal manager are coming to an end – and in turn, the club are said to be looking into the possibility of trying to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Mauricio Pochettino has been listed as a potential candidate but at this moment in time, it does feel like that wound would be too fresh for both sides of North London to deal with. Nuno, on the other hand, hasn’t ruled out a move away from Molineux, but also hasn’t actively gotten behind it, either.

Emery just isn’t able to create any kind of sustainable change at the Emirates, and at this stage, it’d be incredibly surprising to see him carry on behind tonight’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Mikel Arteta and Massimiliano Allegri have also been linked, but Nuno is certainly shaping up to be the main candidate.
