OGS: Fred will get chance at Man United

“You have to look at the time it needs to settle. You look at Juan [Sebastian Veron] – he is one of the best players that I played with – and it took him time to settle.

“And I am sure that when given the chance and a run in the team Fred will grab the opportunity.”

Those are the words of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who revealed that Fred will indeed get his chance to shine at Old Trafford. Since joining late year the Brazilian hasn’t really been given all too many opportunities to shine, which isn’t much of a surprise when you see just how stacked United’s squad is.

However, with rumours running rampant that he’s unhappy, it does indeed seem as if the 25 year old is going to be given the ball to run with. Fred made the jump over to English football after spending five years with Shakhtar Donetsk.
