After battling back in Europe on Tuesday, Juventus will look to extend on what has been a bright run when they make the trip to newly-promoted Lecce on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Lecce may have managed to snatch a famous 2-2 draw against former champions AC Milan over the weekend, they have continued on an inconsistent run. Holding just a one-point buffer over the drop zone and picking up just one victory over the past five weeks, there is no doubt that Head Coach Fabio Liverani will have growing concerns over his side’s form on home soil. The Serie A debutants have lost their last three matches at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare, including a 4-1 hammering against Napoli last month. It should also be noted that Saturday’s hosts hold the second-worst defensive record in Italy’s top-tier and have shipped five goals in their last two appearances.

As for the visitors, while Maurizio Sarri’s men may have left it late in midweek, Juventus battled back to pinch a 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow and are still dreaming of a famous European and domestic double. Yet to taste defeat across any format this season and enjoying a seven-match winning run, fans around Turin will also be boosted by the recent performances on Argentina ace Paulo Dybala. Bagging both goals in the Champions League on Tuesday, the 25-year-old now appears to be a huge part of the former Chelsea bosses plans after looking to leave the Allianz Stadium over the summer. Scoring three in his last three, we’re backing Dybala to extend that run this weekend.
