Pogba pushing for Madrid move in January

Paul Pogba is refusing to return to first-team action with Manchester United in order not to aggravate his injury further, which he believes would reduce his chances of moving to Real Madrid in January, according to Spanish outlet COPE.

The French midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu throughout the summer, but his departure was against the will of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so the English side decided not to allow it to happen. However, there are apparently indications that the Norwegian’s determination regarding Pogba’s stay at Old Trafford has been slackening of late, and that he may yet be prepared to let the player go in the winter if Real put €150 million on the table.

COPE quotes sources from inside the club itself, which suggest that Pogba is now trying to force his way out and refusing to play, despite being fully recovered from injury.
