Pogba to Real won’t happen – Balague

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba will not be moving to Real Madrid this summer – that is the belief of Guillem Balague.

The Spanish journalist has posted another YouTube video in which he addressed the popular rumours regarding football transfers, and he started it with a claim that Pogba will not be moving any time soon.

First of all, as Balague rightly points out, the French midfielder has has expressed his support for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and secondly, Manchester United do not want to part ways with Pogba. The third reason why the move is unlikely to happen are Real Madrid.

According to Balague, the Champions League holders will not be trying for the World Cup winner mostly because of the cost of such potential deal, which he believes would amount to around €500 million when a transfer fee and his potential wages are added up. Real are currently trying to raise money through bonds and sponsorship, most of which will go towards the rebuilding of their Santiago Bernabeu stadium, and some on new players.

But they will not spend the money believed to be needed to prize Pogba out of Old Trafford.
