Portsmouth keen on Vieira

Portsmouth boss Tony Adams has admitted that he would be keen on a reunion with his former Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira.

Adams wants to bring in the Inter midfielder on loan.

The French midfielder has been struggling with a foot injury in recent months and has not featured for the Nerazzurri since the win over Juventus in November this season.

“He is definitely a player I’d like to bring here if he was available,” Adams told the Sunday Mirror.

“I will be speaking to Inter manager Jose Mourinho and asking about him.

“With Patrick you know what you are getting – he is a proven winner and a great character.”
