Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that Chelsea are among clubs showing interest in Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco.
The 23-year-old has shown a great deal of potential since joining from Monaco just over a year ago and he is slowly becoming an important cog in Diego Simeone’s machinery.
Ferreira-Carrasco has been especially impressive of late, netting five times in last four appearances for the club and no wonder he is now being linked with a move away from Vicente Calderon.
While los Colchoneros are preparing a new and improved deal for their star player, Premier League giants Chelsea are casting admiring glances his way.
The Blues are not exactly spoilt for options in the attacking department and they could soon step up their interest in the highly rated footballer.
The Belgium international has already scored 5 goals in all competitions this season, and he had scored the same amount during the entire last season.
