Pulisic to Chelsea not in danger

According to a recent report from Sky Germany, the transfer of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea is not in danger even after the Blues were banned from signing players for the next two windows. This is because he was registered in FIFA’s Transfer Matching System during the January transfer window, meaning that he will still be allowed to make the move over to Stamford Bridge. Pulisic had previously spent four years with Borussia Dortmund, where he is currently on loan.

Chelsea will certainly be restricted in terms of what they can and can’t do for the next 18 months or so, and as a result, it’ll be interesting to see what they do in order to counteract it. They still have a really strong squad, but you have to question whether or not they’ve got enough depth to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City who are currently the top dogs in the division.
