Pulisic to discuss future in January

Christian Pulisic has fallen down the pecking order at Borussia Dortmund behind newcomer Jadon Sancho, and speaking to NBC Sports (as reported by Sky Sports), he said he would discuss his future with the club in January. He also said his focus, or the time being, remains on his current club.

Dortmund’s sporting director Michae Zorc recently revealed that the current Bundesliga leaders have no intention of parting ways with the USA international halfway through the season, but he hasn’t ruled anything out for next summer.

Chelsea, who might well be preparing for life without Eden Hazard, are the latest addition to the long list of clubs linked with a move for Pulisic. They have had a surprisingly good start to the season after the sacking of manager Antonio Conte and the appointment of Maurizzio Sarri in his place, but a potential loss of Hazard would certainly represent a heavy blow. Planning a replacement in the form of a young player of similar features, a possible star in the making, would probably be a good idea.
