QPR to launch attack on Blackburn duo

Mirror Football has revealed that Harry Redknapp is keen to bring Blackburn Rovers duo Scott Dann and Martin Olsson to Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window.

Rangers seem to be strengthening all over the pitch this month and Redknapp wants to make sure that they have plenty of defensive cover.

Olsson is regarded as a very good young full-back that has attracted attention from English Premier League clubs in the past.

It is thought that West Ham United are keen to land the Swede, but Sam Allardyce might not be able to match Redknapp’s transfer fee, which means a move to Loftus Road is a lot more likely.

As for Dann, there is no doubt that he is a good central defender that would add some experience to the back four of QPR, but his record over the last two years might worry fans.

He has been relegated with Birmingham City and Blackburn in the last two seasons, so Redknapp would have to hope that it is third time lucky for the player.

As mentioned, Rangers are weighing up a number of signings in this window and this Blackburn duo could be one of the more likely stories you here in the next few days.
