Eden Hazard is determined to make his dream of playing for Real Madrid come true this summer, and according to AS, he is waiting for Chelsea to name the price for which they would be willing to let him go.
The Spanish outlet quote sources close to the player in saying that Hazard is desperate to make the move happen, but he keeps calm, realizing that the matter is out his hands at the moment. The two clubs need to find an agreement and the whole matter depends on that now. Those sources do not know what price will be demanded by Chelsea, but they speculate it would amount to between €100 million and €120 million.
Hazard has been keen on Madrid move even before Zinedine Zidane returned to the Santiago Bernabeu dugout, but the presence of the Frenchman, his childhood idol, who drew Real’s attention to Hazard back in his Lille days in 2010, has made his desire stronger than ever. Chelsea are apparently resigned to losing the Belgian, but they realize his departure is imminent at some point despite the two-window transfer ban that has been imposed on them.
