Real boss Zidane approves Jovic loan

Real Madrid are set to send Luka Jovic out on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21, according to AS, after head coach Zinedine Zidane stamped his approval on the move.

The Spanish giants are well placed to complete such a deal before Monday’s deadline and are confident of doing so, with AS Roma leading the way in the race, ahead of Inter Milan and AC Milan. The offers from the three Serie A clubs came in that order, and the striker is currently considering them in order to choose his temporary destination. Manchester United have also expressed an interest, but they haven’t yet made a concrete proposal.

The 22-year-old Serbia international joined Real last year from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer for €60 million, and they still haven’t given up on his future at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, his path to the starting line-up is currently blocked by the presence of Karim Benzema, and they’re looking to help him develop further through regular game-time elsewhere.
