Spanish giants Real Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of Eder Militao from Porto after months of speculation. The 21 year old is set to make the move over to the Bernabeu during the summer, and will do so on a six year deal. Militao has been an influential member of Porto’s first team since joining last year, helping the Portuguese giants to reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League. Militao also made his first appearance for the Brazilian national team last year, showcasing just how quickly he’s been able to rise up through the ranks as of late.
Militao’s initial journey to the top began with Sao Paulo, before he joined Porto in August on a five year deal.
Real were able to spot his talent pretty quickly, with many outlets noting that it was just a matter of time before the deal was confirmed.
Now, he can focus his attention on finishing strongly with Porto before the next chapter of his career begins.
