According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid are not planning on allowing Vinicius Junior to leave the club during the January transfer window, regardless of whether or not it’s a loan deal or a permanent one. This comes despite the fact that Zinedine Zidane has not featured him at all in his last two matchday squads, leading to increased speculation that his time at the Santiago Bernabeu could be coming to an end.

Real have an abundance of attacking options as we all well know, but there’s certainly also an argument to be made that they are just as capable of replacing stars if things just aren’t working out. Vinicius Junior has been able to prove himself on certain occasions within Real’s ranks, but if there’s some kind of divide or friction between the two parties, then moving on to something new may be the best course of action.
