Real Madrid are willing to sell Alvaro Carreras in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.
Carreras joined Madrid from Benfica in the summer of 2025 for €50 million.
The report in the Spanish news outlet has stated: ‘Alvaro Carreras’ adaptation to Real Madrid has not been easy.
‘Despite showing promising qualities in certain games, his performance has been inconsistent, especially in high-pressure matches.
‘In crucial games, the full-back has struggled to maintain the required competitive level.
‘Issues in defence, decision-making errors, and a lack of assertiveness in critical moments have raised concerns within the coaching staff.
‘In a club where expectations are sky-high, such mistakes carry significant weight.
‘The feeling that the shirt has been too heavy in certain situations has influenced his assessment within the team.’
Real Madrid are second in the La Liga table at the moment with 74 points from 33 matches, as many as 11 points behind leaders and last season’s champions Barcelona.
