Real Madrid willing to sell David Alaba?

Real Madrid are willing to sell David Alaba in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. Alaba is out of contract at Los Blancos at the end of the season, and the Spanish powerhouse are ready to cash in on him now.

The report in the Spanish news outlet has reported that Besiktas have ‘initiated formal contacts’ for Alaba, who has had injury problems throughout his time at Estadio Bernabeu. The 33-year-old Austria internatioal defender has been on the books of Madrid since 2021 and has made 122 appearances for the first team, scoring five goals and providing nine assists in the process.

Madrid are second in the La Liga table at the moment with 45 points from 19 matches, four points behind leaders Barcelona. Meanwhile, Besiktas currently find themselves fifth in the Turkish Super Lig standings with 29 points from 17 games.
