Real rule out Bale departure in January

Real Madrid will not be parting ways with Gareth Bale in the upcoming transfer window, according to Marca.

Bale’s future has been the subject of much speculation for a very long time, with most recent reports suggesting that at Real they are angry with the Welshman over his behavior; especially over him posing next to a banner which said: “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.” However, Marca quote a senior source at the club who says they consider the 30-year-old winger their best player and that the whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the media.

They feel the former Tottenham Hotspur man will still be influential in the white shirt of Real, and that he is now finally in a good physical condition. He is ready to face Real Sociedad on Saturday, and though his relationship with head coach Zinedine Zidane did have its ups and downs, they’ve worked it out and Zidane is counting on his contribution to the team again.
