Real to make late Pogba push

According to Marca, Real Madrid will make one final push in an attempt to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

The Spanish outlet claim that Pogba feigned a back injury to get out of playing in a friendly with AC Milan as he awaits to learn his fate, with the end of the transfer window looming ever closer. Apart from Real, Juventus are also keen on bringing the Frenchman back to Turin.

While the window in Spain and Italy remains open until September 2nd, in England it closes this Friday as the Premier League season begins, which means United wouldn’t be able to sign a replacement afterwards; they would be likely to close the door on any offers at that point.

The 20-time English champions have already rejected an offer of €30 million plus James Rodriguez from Real, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured the fans that Pogba would be staying. Real will make one final offer before the window shuts, but it will still fall short of United’s valuation of the midfielder, which apparently stands at €150 million.
