Real Madrid will sign Manchester City’s Brahim Diaz, according to Marca.
The Spanish outlet is quite confident the youngster will swap the Etihad Stadium for Santiago Bernabeu when his contract with the Premier League title holders expires at the end of June next year. They claim the club have been trying to persuade him to renew the deal and stay at the north-west of England, but the 19-year-old is not interested and his decision has already been made.
Under the current terms, he will be allowed to talk to clubs outside England in January, and the Champions League holders will approach the player on the first day of 2019.
Brahim is a product of the Manchester City Academy, and so far he has made 14 first-team appearances in all competitions and scored two goals for Pep Guardiola’s side. He’s not likely to get much game-time for the rest of the season under the former Barcelona man, but it remains to be seen if his fate would be any different should he indeed move to Real.
