Real Madrid’s new signing Brahim Diaz will not be leaving the club on loan any time soon, according to AS.
He did not leave in January, and he will not be leaving in the summer. Both the club and the player believe that remaining in the Spanish capital is the best option for his development, the argument being that he would benefit more from training with world class players every day, even though it would likely mean less game-time than he would like, than playing week-in week-out at a lower lever club.
In fact, the report claims the main reason why the 19-year-old midfielder decided against renewing his contract with Manchester City was the Premier League champions’ constant desire to ship him temporarily out.
Diaz has played only 24 minutes of first-team football under head coach Santiago Solari in the last month, but there are no worries about the situation from any party involved.
