Liverpool opened the fifth round of the Premier League season by beating Newcastle United 3-1 at Anfield. Though the Magpies took the lead early on through a well-taken goal from Jetro Willems, Sadio Mane overturned his team’s deficit with a brace before halftime.
Mohamed Salah later added a third for the Champions League holders, having received an incredible flicked pass from Roberto Firmino.
