Roma chief hints at new signings

Serie A side Roma are set to sign few more players before the transfer window shuts, according to sporting director Walter Sabatini.

The Giallorossi have already acquired the services of Bojan Krkic, Erik Lamela, Maarten Stekelenburg and Jose Angel, but Sabatini doesn’t want to stop there.

The Roma chiefs are eager to build a side capable of challenging for honours this season as well as add some strength in depth.

“We have very clear ideas and I speak to coach Luis Enrique every day,” Sabatini told Roma Channel.

“We will certainly sign another three or four players who can play an important part in our project.

“We have also just completed the loan of three players to Bari, who will certainly make an impact in Serie B. We’re talking about Stoian, Crescenzi and Sini.”
