According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Roma have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of signing Rui Patricio from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
New Roma boss Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of Patricio’s and as we look ahead to the rest of the summer transfer window, it seems obvious to say that his days at Molineux are numbered.
Now, instead of wasting any more time, the Italian giants are ready and willing to put in the necessary offer that will see them complete this signing.
Rui has had a really strong and seemingly enjoyable run during his stint with Wolves but now appears to be the time for him to move on to pastures new. Wolves themselves are making a lot of big moves in the transfer market and will likely continue to do so, but keeping hold of Patricio doesn’t look to be in their hands anymore.
