Roma want Januzaj

AS Roma are interested in signing Adnan Januzaj from Real Sociedad, according to Sky in Italy.

Having joined their youth setup from that of Anderlecht back in 2011, Januzaj started his professional career with Manchester United, but he wasn’t able to prove himself capable of playing regularly in a team striving to keep their place at the very top of world football at the time. He spent some time on loan, first at Borussia Dortmund and then Sunderland, before joining Sociedad in a €8.5 million deal in the summer of 2017.

This season, the 24-year-old Belgian made 13 club appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and laying on as many assists.

Roma contacted Liverpool to ask about the possibility of a loan deal for Xherdan Shaqiri last week but the Premier League leaders refused to discuss it point blank. Januzaj appears to be the next name on their list of wishes when it comes to adding numbers to their wide attacking section.
