According to a report from AS, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is eager to see Juventus sign Marcelo from Real Madrid. The Brazilian has seemingly been toying with the idea of a move away from the Bernabeu for quite some time now, with the Italian champions being viewed by many as the next big players in the realms of European football. CR7 made the transition over during the summer and ever since then, Juve have been pretty unstoppable.
Real, on the other hand, have had a pretty uneven season and while they could still quite easily win the Champions League title once again, it certainly seems like they’re going to miss out on the La Liga crown.
Marcelo, 30, has been with Real since back in 2007, making almost 500 appearances for the club. He’s been one of the constants in their rise up through the ranks of Spain and Europe, and even that would be an understatement.
