Rose admits Spurs future uncertainty

Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose has practically admitted that his future with the north London club is far from certain. As quoted by Sky Sports, the left-back said he wants to “go out with a bang”, referring to the upcoming Champions League final against Liverpool.

Rose was reportedly close to leaving Spurs last summer as he had fallen out of the starting line-up under Mauricio Pochettino, but he has since then managed to find his way back in through a number of fine performances, and has now re-established himself as the manager’s preferred option on the left defensive flank.

However, he said that he still sees his name being mentioned in the context of possible departures, and he obviously refused to rule the option out by saying that if the Champions League final was to be his last game for the club, he wants to win that most prestigious trophy in club football.

Last summer, he was mostly linked with Manchester United.
