Looking to bounce immediately back up to the Championship, on Wednesday night Rotherham will welcome Scunthorpe to the New York Stadium for their League One play-off second leg.

For Paul Warne’s Rotherham side, after a difficult first year in the Championship only saw them win five games last year, The Millers have bounced back in some style and will enter Wednesday’s second leg as the favorite. Coming off the back of their 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe on Saturday, Rotherham have now only lost one of their last seven and their form at the New York stadium has continued to impress throughout the campaign. The Reds have now won nine of their last 11 matches at home.

As for Scunthorpe, with Nick Daws doing a respectable job in reigniting The Iron’s season, despite a brief blip entering the New Year, his side comfortably booked their play-off spot. However, while his side are unbeaten in their last nine, a run stemming back to March, the visitors have failed to beat Rotherham in both matchups earlier this year, they have also conceded two goals in each occasion. If Scunthorpe are to book their place at Wembley later this month, The Iron will be reliant on striker Ivan Toney. Since returning from Wigan in January, the 22-year-old has scored eight goals overall and also has two in his last three.
