Sadio Mane missed his second penalty of this year’s African Cup of Nations, having already wasted one in the group stages win over Kenya.

Uganda goalkeeper Denis Onyango brought the Senegal forward down inside the box on the hour-mark, but he redeemed himself by stopping his shot from 12 yards. However, Mane had already beaten Onyango from a perfectly executed counterattack in the first half and set the score which held to the end of the game.

It will be interesting to see if he remains his team’s first-choice penalty taker, though.
