Liverpool beat Leicester City at Anfield to keep their Premier League record this season at 100% after eight rounds in a game which ended in a thrilling manner.
Mane opened the scoring in the 40th minute with his 50th goal for Liverpool, and Leicester’s James Maddison equalized with only 10 minutes to go. However, in the dying seconds of the stoppage time, the Senegalese was the key figure again as he forced Marc Albrighton to foul him from behind inside the box. James Milner stepped up to slot the penalty in past Kasper Schmeichel and secure the three points.
After the game, Mane made it known that he is “living his dream” at the moment.
