Sanchez’s agent holds Juventus, Inter talks

Fernando Felicevich, the representative of Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez, has met with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici and Inter technical director Piero Ausilio to discuss a potential return of the Chilean to Serie A, according to Sky’s sources in Italy. Sanchez spent three years (from 2008 to 2011) with Udinese, before joining Barcelona.

Following rather successful spells with the Catalans and Arsenal which he joined in 2014, he moved to United in January last year with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way as part of the deal, and the transfer is rightly considered as one of the biggest mistakes in recent history. In a season and a half, the 30-year-old has made a total of 45 appearances in all competitions and scored a meager total of five goals in a United shirt – all that while reportedly being the Premier League’s highest earner.

Sanchez has been marked for departure from Old Trafford for quite some time now, but given the experience of Manchester United, no club seemed willing to fork out wages anywhere near to the reported £500,000 per week.
