Soyuncu not going anywhere

Caglar Soyuncu will not be leaving Leicester City in January, his agent told Turkish radio station Radyospor.

The 23-year-old has been putting in great performances since his arrival to the King Power Stadium in the summer, and the Foxes haven’t been feeling the loss of Harry Maguire who made their pockets £80 million heavier, at all. Such great form has expectedly led to rumours about a potential transfer with Manchester City and Arsenal, both in need of a quality central defender, named as potential destinations.

However, his representative, though understanding the appearance of the reports, is adamant the player is focused on his current employers and that there are no transfer plans afoot, either from Soyuncu or the club. He refused to rule out anything happening in the more distant future, but for the time being, all the young defender cares about is doing well with both the Foxes and his national team.
