Spain Under-21 star cleared to join Atletico

Striker Adrian Lopez has won the court case against Deportivo La Coruna and is now a free player.

The labor tribunal has made a ruling to annul the player’s contract with the Galician club, making him free to join Atletico Madrid.

The top scorer and most valuable player of the Under-21 European Championship in Denmark has already agreed to join Atletico Madrid after passing a medical at Vicente Calderon.

Deportivo La Coruna believed they had activated a clause in the player’s contract to renew his deal for another year, but have now been proven wrong.

The promising striker is thus set to become Atletico Madrid’s latest acquisition and the perfect replacement for Manchester City-bound Kun Aguero.
