Harry Kane came off the bench to score a stunning hat-trick as Bayern Munich moved nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga with a dominant 5-0 win away at Stuttgart.
The league leaders dominated the early exchanges and took the lead in the 11th minute as Konrad Laimer flicked a clever backheel past goalkeeper Alexander Nubel after the Austrian was set up by Michael Olise.
The hosts thought they had equalised towards the end of the first half through Nikolas Nartey’s first goal for the club after he met a Bilal El Khannouss free-kick, but it was disallowed after a VAR check as the Dane was offside.
In first-half stoppage time, Nicolas Jackson’s effort was then saved at the near post, while Chema Andres scuffed an effort wide shortly after as Stuttgart applied late pressure.
Diaz squandered a golden opportunity after the break, missing the target from yards out after being played through by Olise, but Bayern got their second through Kane’s driven effort from outside the penalty area.
Stanisic then struck from distance in the 78th minute before Bayern were awarded a penalty after Lorenz Assignon handled a Michael Olise effort on the goal-line, resulting in a red card.
