Swans and Eagles join Ince chase

Swansea City and Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Blackpool attacker Tom Ince, according to the Express.

The 21 year old has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Newcastle United and Cardiff City all showing an interest.

However, it is the Swans and the Eagles who have looked to steal an early march on their rivals on this, the first day of the transfer window.

The Tangerines have reportedly offered the England U21 international a new deal, and his manager and father Paul Ince is unlikely to let his star asset leave without a fight.

Ince junior has seven goals in twenty-one Championship appearances so far this season, and was last year named the Football League Young Player of the Year.

Blackpool travel to Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, and Ince is 13/2 to get the first goal of the game.
