Continuing to shine during pre-season, a high-flying Swansea will make the trip to the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, although Bristol Rovers may have managed to secure another campaign in League One on the penultimate round of fixtures last season, Graham Coughlan’s side suffered a 2-1 loss against Birmingham last weekend and they’re still showing signs of a struggle in Gloucestershire. Including their defeat against the Blues last time out, they have managed to record just a pair of victories at the Memorial Stadium in their last nine attempts, a run that stems back to the 2nd of March. Although Bristol may have their sights set on securing a top-half finish in England’s third-tier this time around, Tuesday could prove to be another tricky test for Coughlan’s side.

As for the visitors, although many in South Wales were shocked to see Graham Potter make the move to Brighton earlier in the month, Swansea have really started to shine under new boss Steve Cooper. Picking up a 3-1 win away at League One outfit Exeter last weekend, the Whites have won each of their four pre-season appearances and have really started to click in the final third. Including a thumping 6-1 win away at Yeovil last week, the former England youth coach has seen his side score three or more goals in each of their victories and even more impressive, they have not tasted defeat in any competition since the middle of April.
