Tammy Abraham 20/21 to score anytime against Ipswich in Saturday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Tammy Abraham to score anytime

Odds: 20/21 @ Bet 365

Looking to refind their form in search of a big second half of the season, Dean Smith’s side will welcome Ipswich to Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Dean Smith’s tenure at Villa Park may have started brightly, Aston Villa have once again begun to struggle. Coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with Hull last weekend, the Claret and Blues have failed to win any of their last five outings, including a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Swansea in the FA Cup. While the Villans might been struggling to pick up three points, the ongoing form of Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham will be impressing the former Brentford boss. Rejecting the chance to move to Wolves, the 21-year-old has 17 goals for the season, including 13 in their last 14 appearances.

As for the visitors, while Ipswich may have turned to former Stoke boss Paul Lambert in order to aid their survival in the Championship, things could not be going any worse for the Trotters. Coming off the back of a 2-0 loss away at Blackburn, the Blues now find themselves sat four points adrift at the bottom of the table. Now losing five of their last six matches across all competitions, including a 1-0 loss to lower league Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup, Lambert will be most concerned by his sides form on the road. Ipswich have lost their last six Championship away matches, failing to record a single goal in any of those defeats.
