Despite being told to look for another club, Wesley Sneijder is determined to stay at Spanish giants Real Madrid.

In an interview with Dutch magazine Sportweek, the midfielder spoke about his current situation at Madrid, whom reportedly want the Dutchman to accept a deal with Internazionale.

“I do consider other options, you have to be realistic,” Sneijder said. “But I do plan to stay. After September 1 they can’t get rid of me anymore and my chances will return.

“I feel that I can be valuable to this team. The trainer appreciates me, he just told me that.

“I still think this is the most beautiful club there is. The fans want me to stay as well.”

The 25-year-old joined Real Madrid from Ajax in 2007, and since scored 11 goals in 52 appearances.
