Todibo doesn’t want to leave Barcelona in January

Jean-Clair Todibo does not want to leave Barcelona in January despite having several offers to do so, according to Le10Sport.

Todibo arrived to the Catalan club from Toulouse in January this year, but he has so far only made five appearances for the Blaugrana in all competitions. The 19-year-old centre-back is firmly behind Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti in the pecking order, and he was seriously contemplating plying his trade elsewhere from the start of 2020.

However, it seems his good performance against Inter Milan in the Champions League has made both him and head coach Ernersto Valverde reconsider the situation, and the player now wants to stay at Camp Nou, despite the likes of Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen being reportedly interested in his services. There was also some talk at one point of Barcelona being willing to offer him as a part a deal to get Neymar back from Paris Saint-Germain, but nothing came of it.
